Zipcar doubled membership in past year to 225,000

Zipcar announced it has doubled its membership over the past year. Currently with 225,000 members, it is growing at about 10,000 members per month versus about 3,000 members per month this time in 2007. They currently have about 5,500 cars as well, and say that their members have helped take 75,000 cars off the road, [...]
